Our wines Our vineyards are partly new (vine density: 4500 vine/ha) and partly 40 years old (vine density: 3000 vine/ha). The soil is for the most part clayey (with a strong tendency to cracking), compact, poor in organic substance and rich in potassium. Inter-row grassing has always been a standard practice, as well as the use of products with minimum environmental impact. Vines are trained using the Guyot system with a maximum of 10 or 12 buds per vine. The climatic conditions are very well suited for the production of full-flavoured white wines and full-bodied red wines with a great ageing potential. |
